Frequently Asked Questions
What is WoWS Stats EU?

An independent statistics platform for the World of Warships European server. Look up any player's battle history, ship performance, and personal rating — no account required. Data is sourced from the official Wargaming Public API.

How often are stats updated?

Stats are fetched live from the WG API when you open a profile and cached for 15 minutes. Force a refresh any time with the ↺ button. We plan to offer automatic 24h updates for premium users and project sponsors.

What is Personal Rating (PR)?

PR compares your damage, kills, and win rate against expected values per ship class. It's the community standard metric, not an official Wargaming stat. Scale: <750 Bad · 750–1100 Below Average · 1100–1350 Average · 1350–1550 Good · 1550–1750 Very Good · 1750–2100 Great · 2100–2450 Unicum · 2450+ Super Unicum.

Why does a player show 🔒 private?

Around 80–90% of EU players have set their profile to private in Wargaming account settings. Stats for private profiles cannot be retrieved — this is a Wargaming platform restriction, not a bug.

What is Elite / Special / Premium status?

Elite — fully researched tech-tree ship, silver oak wreath. Tier X ships are always Elite.
Special — event or mission reward, gold wreath, no credit bonus.
Premium — bought with doubloons, gold wreath, bonus credits & XP per battle.

What is the Battle Monitor?

The Monitor reads your tempArenaInfo.json file (created by WoWS in your replays folder when a battle starts) and shows live stats for all 24 players — PR, win rate, damage, kills, and clan info. Chrome and Edge support auto-monitoring.

What do ship performance badges mean?

Badges compare your lifetime avg XP/battle on a ship vs. all EU players: 3rd Class = top 50% · 2nd Class = top 20% · 1st Class = top 5% · Expert = top 1%.
